Hello. Gosh I am so sorry to hear what you are going through with Tricare. My hubby is in the AF and sometimes I really can't stand them. I am currently pregnant with my 2nd son who suffers from LUTO, however we are now beyond intervention as his kidneys have already failed. We plan to carry to term then comfort care post birth. I saw your story on babies911 at the time I still had hope for our lil guy but it soon went away when there was just nothing they could do anymore. I'm glad I found your blog, and wish to continue to follow it. As I feel we are linked through this horrbile condition called LUTO.

Had a friend with Tricare and a "no govenment pay" code. She sent a simple letter, supporting documents and bill, she received a reimbursment and no questions.
Hope that helps.

Dude I know this sounds crazy, but in fighting a recent medical bill. I found out that it doesn't matter what people say on the phone. Send the company that is billing you a written letter of "dispute of payment" along with your account number and copy of the bill. Don't ask me why they need it in writing but apparently once you send it in writing bills just suddenly poof away like magic. Love ya!

Hi there! Delurking... ;O)
I am SELF pay, with no insurance at all.. and have had several trips to hosp. over last few years.. they WILL probably take it off the bill.My husband calls and annyoys people all the time to get them to reduce the bills. We also make very small payments so that it is long and drawn out.. and makes me NUTS because I want it done.. but after a couple of years.. They usually make my husband a deal where its either greatly reduced or eliminated ! Its just annoying and takes forever but you CAN get them to take it off ;o))

I hope it works out for you soon, so you can concentrate on being that mama.. instead of all this yuck!

DOOOOOOOOOD. I would NOT want to be on your bad side. I hate that you're going through this, but I LOVE the attitude you possess about it.

Washington better WATCH OUT...I think you're going to make your point. :0)
